Analysts work with senior staff to prepare business valuation reports and/or conduct business valuations for tax reporting purposes. Under the direction of senior staff, analysts assist in preparing essential components of business valuation and valuation analyses. Analysts are expected to be well-versed in economics and finance with a basic understanding of accounting and a willingness to learn both independently and from senior staff. Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results People: Create a positive team member experience. Client: Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities. Value: Create and work with financial models in Excel Perform basic business valuation analysis using appropriate methods and techniques Perform benchmarking, analysis of financial statements, and economic analysis of companies, markets, and industries Draft and assist in preparation of memos and reports Research and review economic literature, perform general research on a variety of topics Research and review country-specific tax regulations.
