About The Position

Analyst, Capital Markets is an analytical role responsible for supporting the execution of acquisitions, divestitures, and financings of solar and battery storage projects. The person will work in a highly visible, cross-functional environment with various internal and external stakeholders to screen, analyze, and evaluate a variety of transactions, including greenfield investments, project and portfolio acquisitions, project financing (tax equity, tax credit sales, bridge loans, construction loans, and term loans), and other initiatives as required. The person should also support the development of investment-related communications inside the firm, including investment committee memos, senior management presentations, and post-approval tracking. This role requires performing modeling for both tax equity and debt financing and supporting due diligence on renewable energy projects.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree (Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field).
  • 0 – 2 Experience in capital markets with exposure to M&A, corporate finance, project finance, and investment analysis within deal execution environments
  • Experience working directly on renewable energy project transactions.
  • Ability to demonstrate skills in the form of a model test. As well as communicate reasonings.
  • Strong quantitative, financial analysis, and modeling skills.
  • Understanding of project financing structures.
  • Strong competency in Microsoft products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels are critical to success.
  • Strong sense of curiosity and natural inclination to understand how to connect the dots with various pieces in a project to create a successful outcome.
  • Highly organized and able to track requirements and timelines for both internal teams and third parties.
  • Passion for renewables.

Responsibilities

  • Support project finance and M&A transactions by coordinating due diligence activities, running financial valuations and assisting with coordination across financing counterparties (lenders, tax investors, third-party consultants).
  • Assist in financial modeling, investment return analysis, and capital planning projections.
  • Help prepare due diligence materials and organize documentation required for financing and closing processes.
  • Participate in analysis of development-stage projects, including valuations, economics, and sensitivity scenarios.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and datasets to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare presentation materials, investment summaries, and reports for internal teams and senior management.
  • Support pricing strategy analysis for PPAs, BTAs, and development asset sales.
  • Contribute to project budgeting, forecasting, and corporate reporting tasks.
  • Maintain and update financial models, tools, and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform other analytical tasks assigned to support the Capital Markets team.
