About The Position

Ziegler is a leading, privately held investment bank focused exclusively on the healthcare industry. For more than a century, Ziegler has advised healthcare organizations on strategic transactions, capital raising, and growth initiatives. Ziegler’s Healthcare Investment Banking practice is one of the most active advisory platforms in the sector, providing innovative sell-side, buy-side, recapitalization, restructuring, private placement, and strategic advisory services to healthcare companies and investors. Ziegler’s Healthcare M&A Investment Banking team advises physician groups, healthcare providers, and healthcare services companies on mergers, acquisitions, and capital formation strategies. The Physician Advisory team is a specialized group of approximately 10 bankers dedicated to advising physician practices and healthcare services organizations. Over the past 15 years, the team has completed more than $6 billion in M&A transactions, making Ziegler one of the most active advisors in the physician services sector. The team operates with a highly collaborative and flat structure, allowing analysts to work directly with senior bankers and clients throughout the transaction process. Ziegler is seeking highly motivated Investment Banking Analysts to join its Physician Advisory M&A teams in New York and Chicago. Unlike larger investment banks where responsibilities are often highly segmented, analysts at Ziegler are fully integrated into deal teams and play an active role across all phases of transaction execution and business development. Analysts work directly with Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, and Associates and have the unique opportunity to engage with clients, investors, and buyers early in their careers. The role offers meaningful exposure to live transactions and provides strong mentorship and training within a collaborative team environment. This position is ideal for candidates seeking hands-on experience, significant responsibility, and direct client interaction within a leading healthcare-focused investment banking platform. Candidates should be located in, or willing to relocate to, the New York or Chicago area.
