About The Position

Econ One seeks an intellectually curious, highly motivated individual to join a Healthcare Economics Team as an entry-level, full-time Analyst. The Healthcare Practice Group is a tightly knit team within Econ One that consults on projects related to economic analysis and econometrics for healthcare litigation and public policy consulting projects. Analysts support experts testifying in a wide range of cases, including antitrust, class action, and other commercial disputes about topics such as monopolization, price fixing, health care reimbursement, pharmaceutical pricing, and medical monitoring costs. Your journey starts with comprehensive onboarding, integrating your knowledge with our methods for research and data analytics. Analysts play a vital role at Econ One and are relied upon to provide work of exceptional quality, integrity, and value. They are involved in all aspects of the consulting engagement, and conduct statistical analyses, build models, and substantiate their findings. They think critically, synthesize complex information into clear and precise thoughts for presentations and other deliverables, and communicate their results succinctly to drive projects forward. Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency with data presentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; dedicated to seeing projects through to the completion.
  • Willingness and ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to accuracy and quality work products.
  • Proficient in using algorithms and statistical modeling in Microsoft Excel, Stata, Python, SQL, SAS, and/or R.
  • Demonstrated ability to examine market and industry behavior through targeted research.
  • BS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or Finance with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • High integrity

  • Well-versed in economic theory and practice
