Carvana’s Litigation Team is a high-performing group of attorneys, analysts, and e-discovery professionals who partner with every corner of the business. As a Legal Analyst, you will immediately take ownership of meaningful matters across our consumer, demand letter, and subpoenas portfolios. You’ll also assist internal and outside counsel to efficiently resolve litigation filed against the company. Our practice is deeply integrated with technology, automation, and AI—so if you are a self-starter who is curious, adaptable, and energized by solving novel problems in an opaque environment, you will thrive here and help us continue redefining how in-house litigation is done. This position will report directly to Senior Counsel, Litigation and supports other attorneys in various day-to-day activities. This role is located at corporate headquarters in Tempe, Arizona, and is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a role requiring complex analysis.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain highly detailed records.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills necessary to interface with various individuals within the company across many departments.
  • Highly analytical, with an ability to identify important issues and propose solutions to such issues.
  • Effective communicator, with an emphasis on clear and focused writing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and motivation to contribute to and thrive in a rapidly growing company where roles continually adapt as the company evolves.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned matters end-to-end across demand letters, subpoenas, and individual consumer litigation—from intake through resolution and closure—partnering with in-house counsel for strategy and escalations.
  • Work closely with the company’s business units to collect, review, and analyze the facts and core records needed to assess claims and resolve disputes efficiently and consistently.
  • Execute structured intake and drafting workflows using AI and other automation tools to generate initial case deliverables, then independently review, edit, and finalize materials for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with team standards and approach.
  • Drive early resolution and settlement execution within defined authority, including documenting offers, obtaining approvals above threshold, and supporting settlement agreement preparation, execution, and post-settlement steps.
  • Maintain rigorous matter tracking and documentation in required systems, ensuring complete notes, deadlines, outcomes, and closure documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
