About The Position

Global X Management Company LLC (“Global X”) is seeking a highly motivated Research Operations Analyst to join our Research Team. Working closely with other Research Team members and stakeholders across the firm, the Operations Analyst will focus on tasks related to streamlining the research infrastructure and increasing the efficiency of various processes, as well as serving as administrative support for the team. The Operations Analyst is expected to be an impactful contributor to the Research Team, including aiding with tool and platform management, coordinating team support, managing data, and conducting basic analysis for research reports.

Requirements

• Adept proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word)
• Ability to learn and adapt to new platforms and tools quickly
• Attention to detail
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while maintaining personal initiative
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated self-starter

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Internships, certifications, and other such experiences will be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with various operational tools and platforms (Asana, Slack, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)
• Experience with specialized financial software (Bloomberg, Factset, etc.)
• Business and technical writing
• Data cleaning, analysis, and visualization

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and ad hoc assistance to analysts in pulling data and updating reports, product decks, and other deliverables that cover our Thematic, Income, and Commodities suites of funds.
• Assist with the compliance process for several deliverables on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Facilitate distribution of research tools and resources, including website posting and tagging and research provider access, as well as updating and sharing internal deliverables such as dashboards, tracking metrics, and notes.
• Collaborate as an operational liaison with other teams, building relationships across and outside the firm to best represent the research perspective.
• Support team reporting and process analysis to inform research objectives.
• Help coordinate team events.
