About The Position

The Scheduler Analyst expedites work orders for manufacturing fabrication departments to ensure on-time delivery of products for production while meeting quality and safety standards. Position Responsibilities May include: Work in a safe and high-quality manner. Ensure assigned feeder departments follow work schedules to maintain adequate fabricated parts for Assembly operations. Prepare, maintain, and analyze manufacturing work orders to ensure timely completion. Determine parts, job sequence, and appropriate machine(s) to satisfy demand. Collaborate with feeder departments to manufacture parts effectively, meet inventory needs, and ensure accuracy. Interact with teams daily to expedite the flow of material, BOMs, and Routers to meet production schedules and resolve issues. Review, create, and analyze capacity reports regularly, interfacing with necessary departments to plan for and resolve issues. Track daily schedule attainment. Manage work orders and reporting activities to drive schedule attainment. Identify issues that could impact the schedule. Conduct and participate in scheduling meetings. Forecast, plan, and communicate with other Daikin facilities. Participate in companywide 5-S projects. Schedule service components for the Service department. Ensure production schedules achieve 100% on-time delivery with minimal inventory. Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs. Nature & Scope Possesses broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. Has no discretion to vary from established procedures, performing structured work assignments. Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex. Explains facts, policies, and practices related to the job area.

Requirements

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a high-paced environment.
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple orders/projects.
  • Good judgment and logical problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop reasonable solutions.
  • 1+ years of scheduling experience in a high mixed volume manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is strongly desired.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience is strongly desired.
  • Strong work ethics, good judgment, and integrity on the job.
