About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinate daily functioning of the department, anticipates and meets the needs of the Anesthesiologist and CRNA’s. Monitors inventory of supplies/equipment. Ensures that the equipment is maintained and functions properly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Current BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Good customer service skills, well organized, ability to hand fast paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred.
• Anesthesia aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the anesthesia Department.
• Record keeping - monitoring of equipment and temperatures.
• Care and maintenance of anesthesia equipment.
• Troubleshooting all monitors and machines.
• Cleaning of equipment before and after cases.
• Ordering and maintaining inventory for anesthesia supplies in the Operating Rooms, Obstetrics, Angio, Endoscopy, and Holding Areas.
