About The Position

Assists Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and other medical staff working on anesthesia teams. Clean, maintain and prepare anesthesia equipment for use in surgical procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate from a formal, accredited Anesthesia Technician training program or equivalent preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician preferred.
• Current BLS Certification
• Passes Anesthesia Technician competencies as compiled and directed by GRMC
• Able to complete on-the-job training as directed by manager
• Demonstrates knowledge of anesthesia administration and its delivery systems.
• Able to assemble and troubleshoot all equipment as necessary for procedures.
• Ensures all necessary equipment is in the room prior to the start of a case
• Possesses communication and interpersonal skills that can aptly interact with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and patients.
• Possesses organization skills to adeptly manage tasks such as disinfecting, stocking supplies, etc

Nice To Haves

• Graduate from a formal, accredited Anesthesia Technician training program or equivalent preferred.
