About The Position

Responsible for supervising and maintaining all cashier and receivable functions for the dealerships as well as compiling and maintaining accounts payable records Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensures all receivables are being collected in an appropriate timeframe, including the organization’s wholesale customers. Ensures deposits are made daily and in a timely manner Manages large cash transactions making sure the appropriate amounts are being collects and handled accurately according to the cash handling policy File GET monthly and yearly Reconcile parts statement monthly Reconcile credit card statement monthly using the organizations credit card expense monitoring software Ensures all bills are entered and paid in a timely manner Ensures all reporting needs are provided to upper management Completes 1099s yearly mailing copies out to customers as well as electronically file to IRS Covers any associates responsibilities in the AP/AR department as necessary Maintains a professional appearance.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or technical school, five years related experience, or three years equivalent combination of educations and experience
  • Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel are required
  • Five years of management experience is required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other associates of the organization
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or associates of the organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
