The Stony Brook School seeks a talented, mission-aligned faculty member to join the Mathematics Department beginning in August 2026. This role will include teaching AP Statistics, which currently has three full sections. This faculty member may also teach additional mathematics courses or advanced electives based on departmental needs and the candidate's strengths. Our Math Department offers a robust range of upper-level opportunities, with six courses and nearly 100 students pursuing mathematics beyond AP Calculus. In the 2025-26 school year, SBS had 22 AIME qualifiers and four USAMO candidates. Founded in 1922, The Stony Brook School is a co-ed Christian college-prep boarding and day school for grades 7-12 on a 55-acre campus on Long Island's North Shore.
