Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Affordable Apartments Manager to oversee the daily operations of our affordable housing properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in affordable housing programs, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of verifiable experience in property management or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LIHTC, Section 8, Public Housing, and/or RAD preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage leasing processes, including tenant selection, lease renewals, and rent collection.
  • Maintain strong relationships with residents, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure properties are well-maintained and address maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and manage property budgets, including monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with team members and external partners to achieve property management goals.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required by regulatory agencies and company policies.
