Apartment Service Technician - The Villas of Hammond The Villas of Hammond, a beautiful apartment community managed by RichSmith Management , is seeking an experienced and motivated Apartment Service Technician to join our maintenance team. If you have a strong background in apartment maintenance and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you! This position plays a critical role in maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our community and ensuring a high-quality living environment for our residents. Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience , with a strong focus on:
• Repairs
• Preventive maintenance
• Resident customer service
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and work in confined spaces
• Ability to reach overhead for extended periods
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday

Nice To Haves

• HVAC or EPA certification (preferred)
• Pool operation and maintenance experience (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Performing daily maintenance and repair work throughout the property
• Responding to and completing service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Conducting preventive maintenance to ensure long-term property performance
• Performing pool care and basic pool maintenance
• Assisting with landscaping and grounds upkeep
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized maintenance area
• Providing excellent customer service to residents and staff
