About The Position

ERES Companies is seeking an App Development and Technology Manager to oversee the ongoing development, coordination, and scalability of its app and related technology initiatives. This role will manage app development projects, coordinate third-party development teams and technology partners, support AI integration efforts, and help position the company’s technology for growth across multiple markets and business lines. This person will serve as the key link between leadership, operations, software developers, AI partners, and external vendors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically fluent, and experienced in managing multiple workstreams, including development timelines, issue tracking, platform enhancements, vendor accountability, and cross-functional communication. This is not a traditional IT support role. It is a business-critical role focused on managing the delivery, improvement, and scalability of the company’s technology platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 to 7 or more years of experience in software project management, app development coordination, product operations, technology management, or a similar role.
  • Experience managing external developers, offshore teams, or multiple technology vendors.
  • Strong understanding of app development lifecycles, software implementation, issue tracking, testing, and release coordination.
  • Strong communication, organization, documentation, and follow-through skills.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, enhancement, and ongoing performance of company apps, admin systems, and related technology tools.
  • Manage execution of the development roadmap across internal and external resources.
  • Coordinate with software development teams, including offshore teams, to ensure deliverables align with company priorities and are completed on schedule.
  • Track bugs, enhancements, feature requests, project milestones, and release timelines.
  • Ensure testing, validation, and deployment processes are organized and completed before launch.
  • Provide leadership with regular updates on project progress, risks, blockers, and resource needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between ERES Companies and outside development partners, including AI and technology vendors
  • Manage communication, accountability, follow-up, and performance expectations across third-party teams.
  • Help strengthen the company’s long-term technology structure by improving oversight, documentation, and project ownership.
  • Assist in evaluating new vendors, contractors, and technical resources as needed.
  • Work closely with AI partners and other technology providers to support automation and innovation initiatives.
  • Coordinate testing, implementation, feedback, and optimization of AI-related solutions.
  • Help identify ways AI and automation can improve operations, service delivery, customer experience, and efficiency.
  • Help prepare company technology systems for expansion into new markets, regions, and business opportunities.
  • Work with leadership to identify technical requirements for growth, including localization, reporting, permissions, workflows, and administrative controls.
  • Support the development of repeatable systems and standards that can scale across multiple locations or markets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology supports broader company growth strategies.
  • Support platform stability, uptime, and performance by ensuring issues are escalated, tracked, and resolved.
  • Coordinate business system access, user setup, onboarding support, and technology process documentation.
  • Maintain organized records of technology workflows, permissions, inventories, and operating procedures.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to improve visibility and accountability around app and system performance.
  • Build and maintain clear project plans, timelines, action registers, and status updates.
  • Translate technical topics into clear business-level communication for leadership and operational teams.
  • Keep multiple teams aligned on deadlines, deliverables, ownership, and priorities.
  • Create structure and accountability to ensure projects move forward efficiently.
