About the position

Royal Apparel is a family-owned manufacturing company located in Hauppauge, NY. We are an industry leader of Made in the USA, Organic & Sustainable apparel. We are proud to make our garments out of Fibers that are Eco-Friendly, Green and help the Earth! We are looking for a creative, trend-savvy, and strategic Apparel Marketing Director to lead our brand and marketing efforts. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and support sales across all channels—including retail, e-commerce, and wholesale. The ideal candidate has deep experience in the fashion/apparel industry and a strong understanding of how to connect with diverse consumer segments through compelling storytelling, seasonal campaigns, and data-driven marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy for the apparel brand, aligning with seasonal launches, product drops, and brand goals.
  • Oversee brand positioning, identity, and voice across all channels (digital, social media, retail, print, PR, tradeshows).
  • Collaborate closely with design, merchandising, sales, and e-commerce teams to ensure marketing supports business objectives and product timelines.
  • Manage campaign planning and execution across paid media, influencer marketing, partnerships, and e-commerce promotions.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and positioning strategies.
  • Own and manage the marketing calendar to support product launches, seasonal collections, and brand initiatives.
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals including digital, content, and PR specialists.
  • Oversee content creation including photoshoots, lookbooks, videos, and storytelling assets.
  • Drive consumer engagement and loyalty through CRM strategies, email marketing, and social campaigns.
  • Manage marketing budget and measure ROI of campaigns using KPIs and analytics tools.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful apparel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and retail marketing dynamics.
  • Experience with digital marketing, influencer strategy, and social media platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Klaviyo, Shopify, etc.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with DTC and wholesale fashion brands.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with a strong background in the fashion/apparel industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fashion Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Established network of media, influencer, and creative partners.
  • Passion for fashion, creativity, and brand storytelling.
  • Experience managing marketing for product collaborations or capsule collections.
