About The Position

The Appliance Care Company is hiring a part-time installer/delivery driver. This job will be 20-40 hours per week, depending on the number of deliveries and installations scheduled. Typically, you’ll be working from 8-5, Monday – Friday. Pay depends on experience. The hours are flexible and we can work around your schedule! Please call for details. You must be mechanically inclined and know your way around a toolbox! You’ll be installing washing machines, electric and gas dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and gas and electric ranges. Located in Belton, The Appliance Care Company is a locally owned and operated company that’s been around for more than 35 years. Business is booming and we need an excellent installer/delivery driver who can expertly handle all installations. As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work. You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too. Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
