About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Application Engineer III to join our team! Specifically, we're looking for a skilled engineer who brings deep Linux system administration expertise, proven AWS experience, and an active Security+ certification.

Requirements

• 6 years of relevant experience
• B.S. in a related field
• 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a B.S.
• Proficient with Linux
• Minimum of 3 years Linux server administration experience (within the last 3 years)
• Proficient with AWS
• Minimum of 1 year of AWS experience (within the last year)
• Experience with either Ansible or Salt
• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and AWS instances
• Security + cert

Responsibilities

• Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers
• Monitor and patch/upgrade Linux servers and AWS instances
• Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable
• Support documentation of non-applicable controls
• Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software
• Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure
• Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware
• Document inventory changes
