About The Position

This position will be working for the firm’s Application Support Technology team, and will provide support across business units. The person will assist in supporting a broad variety of applications, including client server and cloud based. The person will triage support issues and data inquiries, and escalate to internal teams as needed. This position will also include producing documentation for known issues, onboarding support procedures for new applications, and working on firm-wide initiatives pertaining to the supported applications and related technology.

Requirements

  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to follow a documented process
  • Experience working within a team
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in a Microsoft Windows Desktop and/or Server environment
  • Highly motivated individual, able to drive problem resolution from inception to closure

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the financial industry a plus
  • Microsoft SQL or other scripting skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and triage jobs / system integrations
  • Facilitate access and user requests
  • Collaborate with internal and 3rd party vendors to drive resolution of prod support items
  • Monitor and manage a support queue
  • Document status and resolution of incidents and problems
  • Perform data gathering tasks in support of audit and regulatory filing activities
  • Research and respond to data inquiries
  • Assist with basic reporting and system automation efforts
