About The Position
The Applications Administrator for Linux is responsible for administering, supporting, and maintaining Linux-based application environments. This role requires hands-on experience with Linux systems and applications, along with the ability to support enterprise environments in accordance with organizational and contractual requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification
- Minimum of 5 years of current experience as a Linux Applications Administrator or in a closely related role
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Linux-based applications in an enterprise environment
- Perform routine application maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting
- Ensure system and application availability, stability, and reliability
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve application and system issues
- Maintain documentation related to application configurations and support activities
