About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location. Duties: Perform analysis on datasets using Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to determine data quality, coverage, and complexity, and normalize disparate data sets into a common logical model. Work directly with Technology, Operations, Legal and Business stakeholders to successfully gather project requirements and deliver projects leveraging enterprise reference data platform. Create Business and Functional Requirement Documents to translate business logic into functional requirements and communicate expected functional deliverables to Developers and other stakeholders. Understand business requirements to create JIRA tasks, distribute them into subtasks, determine acceptance criteria and aim to complete them in monthly sprints. Develop automated testing scripts using Java to test UI and backend APIs, process workflows and overall health of the Price Master Central (PMC) Portfolio application. Perform functional testing, write test plans, execute test use cases, and create JIRAs for bugs and work with development team to implement fixes. Draft and setup policies in Price Master Central (PMC) Portfolio application for exception management and price transfer by collaborating with operations and business users, and educate them on how to use the application for reviewing the reports. Facilitate sprint planning and scrum calls for development team in order to plan, manage and track progress and risks of the project deliverables. Review, analyze and mitigate production issues. Partner with business teams for user acceptance testing and production checkout to ensure that the delivered product satisfies end user requirements. Work with global production support team to provide alternative or permanent solutions for issues reported in production environment. Assist developers and production support teams on production release checkout. Serve as a subject matter expert on financial pricing domain and Price Master Central tool. Understand and implement limitations in code to create clear, technically specific tasks and workflows for the developers to implement. Take ownership of the price transfer and fair value software modules within the application to ensure user requirements are met. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field and 2 years of experience as an Applications Development Programmer Analyst, Systems Engineer, Business Intelligence Analyst, Software Engineer, or related position involving business data analysis and data platform management in the financial services industry.
  • Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.
  • Full term of experience must include: Applying domain knowledge on capital markets, fund accounting product and pricing reference data; SQL and technical big data analysis; Oracle SQL developer client, IntelliJ / Eclipse development platforms; Data analytics and business intelligence tools including PowerBI and Tableau; Requirement elicitation; Agile methodology; Facilitating sprint planning, retrospective and scrum calls as scrum master; Advanced Excel; Java programming; QA testing; JIRA, Bitbucket and Confluence.
