Our Applications Engineer Intern will be part of the 10-week summer internship designed to help you build the knowledge, insight and expertise to get ahead of the competition and better prepare you for your career after graduation. Requirements

  • Completion of Junior year in an accredited college with a major in Electric Engineering Field or related engineering qualification
  • Enjoy working in an agile business environment which has the combination of technical, commercial and product compliance
  • Creative, data driven approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Organize and complete detailed tasks and project work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. Responsibilities

  • The Applications Engineer Intern will be an active member of the engineering team and will lead projects aimed at improving the group’s current technical challenges. These solutions will have a direct impact on the organization and its success.
  • The Applications Engineer Intern will support all sales channels (direct, independent reps and distributors) as technical support.
  • The Applications Engineer Intern will learn to create and maintain product datasheets, safety agency report and files, schematic and PCB layouts, customer modification files, and other technical documentation.
  • The Applications Engineer Intern will learn and leverage lean tools to solve challenging problems.
  • Projects and additional duties will be assigned throughout the assignment based on current business and technical needs
  • Interns will be expected to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours/week and will be compensated on an hourly basis.
