Apprentice Electrician - Mission Critical Data Center
About The Position
Enterprise Electrical is seeking skilled and motivated Electricians of all levels — Apprentice electricians and Crew Support — to support a mission-critical Data Center project in San Antonio, TX. Candidates must have prior proven data center project experience and demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. Requirements
- An active electrical trade license is required to work.
- A valid driver’s license or identification is necessary.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
- Experience in a commercial or industrial electrical setting for 1–3 years is essential, with a preference for those familiar with data centers or mission-critical environments.
- A basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, materials, and safety practices is required.
- Capability to read and interpret instructions, diagrams, and construction documents under supervision is expected.
- A commitment to learning and adhering to NEC codes, OSHA standards, and Enterprise Electrical safety protocols is essential.
- A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a readiness to travel and work full-time on-site are important.
- Physical capabilities, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces, are required.
- A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are necessary.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team in a mission-critical environment are essential qualities.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Mission Critical Data Center projects (including hyperscale, colocation, or critical infrastructure environments).
- Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience working with UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and grounding systems.
- Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with Procore, PlanGrid, or comparable project management software.
- Completion of journeyman license coursework or a substantial number of hours towards achieving journeyman status.
