About The Position

OWL Services is hiring Traveling Fuel Technician Apprentices to work hands-on in the field servicing fuel stations. This job is for people who like working with their hands, don’t mind being on the road, and want steady work with good overtime and advancement. We’ll train you on the job. Mechanical experience helps, but it’s not required if you’re willing to learn. Travel (Important) This is a travel-heavy job. You’ll work in multiple states and may be on the road for weeks at a time. Hotel provided $50/day per diem paid weekly (not taxed) If you like traveling and stacking hours, this is a good fit. Requirements

  • Mechanical ability or experience using hand tools (preferred, not required)
  • A reliable individual seeking a long-term career with opportunities for growth and advancement
  • Comfortable lifting 10–50 lbs and working on your feet, kneeling, bending, and reaching
  • Able to work independently and follow instructions
  • Basic phone/tablet skills
  • Clean driving record
  • Must pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical ability or experience using hand tools (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Calibrating fuel pumps so customers get the right amount of fuel
  • Performing minor maintenance on fuel dispensing equipment
  • Setting up tools and equipment at job sites
  • Using basic tech (tablet/phone) to record work
  • Driving a company truck to job locations – must have valid driver's license
