About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager of Aquatics & Safety, the Aquatics Program Supervisor is primarily responsible for effectively running aquatic programs including swim lessons, diving lessons, swim team, and aquatic special events. They are also responsible for overseeing concessions operations and facility operations at Volkening Lake. The Aquatics Program Supervisor directly supervises 65 part-time staff.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Sport Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
At least one (1) year of related experience along with prior supervisory experience required.
Valid Illinois driver’s license required.
Must be able to acquire within 1st year of employment: Lifeguard Instructor certification, Food Service & Sanitation Certificate, CPR, AED, and First Aid Instructor certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Jeff Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training Program preferred.
