About The Position

They are seeking an AR Specialist to join their team. This fully remote role plays a critical part in managing large-dollar invoicing, collections, and client-facing A/R processes, while also supporting broader accounting operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Requirements

• At least 5 years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Strong understanding of high-volume billing environments and end‑to‑end A/R processes
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, self-motivated, and highly communicative, with a strong client-facing mindset

Nice To Haves

• An Associate’s Degree in Accounting is preferred but not required
• Experience with Sage Intacct is a strong plus, with certification expected within six months
• Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables or willingness to learn)
• Experience with tools such as Expensify, Salesforce, or automated AP solutions are beneficial

Responsibilities

• Overseeing recurring invoicing
• Ensuring timely and accurate application of customer payments
• Managing credits and adjustments related to product returns or damages
• Monitoring account balances to support consistent cash flow
• Collaborating closely with customer A/P contacts to address questions, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong working relationships
• Ensuring data integrity within Sage Intacct and related systems
• Contributing to month-end and audit processes
• Preparing and analyzing A/R and collections reports
• Recommending improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall financial operations
