THE ROLE: The Architect works directly with assigned clients to align ServiceNow platform capabilities with business outcomes, supporting enterprise ServiceNow initiatives under the guidance of senior architects. Responsibilities include contributing to platform and solution architecture, designing workflow and process improvements, creating architectural artifacts and models, and identifying opportunities to enhance the processes, data, and services enabled by ServiceNow. This role requires strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills to help clients understand and execute appropriate technical strategies and tactical solutions across the ServiceNow platform, translating business vision into scalable and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT (or related field) or 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years consulting experience delivering in-depth analysis and platform solutions.
  • 3+ years working on an enterprise platform such as ServiceNow or Salesforce.
  • 2+ years supporting or leading technical resources on project-level engagements.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and governance frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman; ITIL, COBIT, PMI, Agile).
  • Experience creating architecture models and documentation.
  • Experience delivering low-to-moderate complexity ServiceNow solutions at the project level.
  • Experience supporting multi-module ServiceNow implementations (e.g., ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, HRSD, SPM, Discovery, Virtual Agent, GRC/IRM, SIR, SAM/HAM).
  • Experience contributing to ServiceNow integrations and data models.
  • Experience participating in platform governance or ServiceNow implementations in one or more organizations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills; trusted partner, collaborative team builder, open to feedback.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications: CIS Data Foundation (CMDB/CSDM) plus one additional CIS (preferred); ServiceNow CSA, CAD, and Implementation Badge.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical advisor and day-to-day point of contact for assigned ServiceNow client stakeholders.
  • Support projects of varying size to drive technology transformation and ensure solutions meet quality standards and objectives.
  • Create and maintain architecture artifacts aligned to business/IT strategy and established platform standards.
  • Contribute to ServiceNow platform architecture and governance (standards, roadmaps, and design patterns) under senior guidance.
  • Support multi-module ServiceNow implementations across IT workflows and enterprise functions (e.g., ITSM/CMDB-CSDM, HRSD, SPM, and related capabilities).
  • Assist in designing ServiceNow integrations using APIs and event-driven patterns, and contribute to secure data/service models.
  • Analyze current-state capabilities, identify improvement opportunities (cost, efficiency, experience), and support target-state and gap assessments.
  • Support compliance with architectural standards, change control, and data management; stay current on ServiceNow releases and emerging tech.
