About The Position

The job profile for this position is Architecture Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. Responsibilities- • Lead team of technical staff to design, build, test, and deliver large-scale global software applications, systems, platforms, services or technologies; • Work directly with partner IT and business teams, as well as own and drive major deliverables across all aspects of software delivery; • Ensure efficient operation of responsible teams through clear articulation of operating mechanics, architecture health metrics and targets, and incident and reporting throughput metrics and targets; • Participate in system design, interface design, validation of technology assumptions, and identification of options within the framework of our Agile Release Train (“ARTs”); • Participate in Production Support incident management, L2 and L3 support, and monitor and review incidents reported by business teams; • Proactively identify and develop training plans for knowledge gaps (technical or business-related) that limit team effectiveness; • Continuously drive improvement and optimization through retrospectives, Inspect and Adopt and stakeholder feedback; • Manage key components in the Evernorth Web & Mobile apps; • Improve the quality of Dental IT deliverables; • Drive the adoption of CI/CD tools and support improvement of toolsets/processes; and • Advise business leaders within Care and Technology matrix partners. • ~10% domestic travel required for client and team meetings. • Hybrid Work Schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computers or Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in a related occupation
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting technology decisions within various technologies
  • Experience developing RESTful web services
  • Experience building applications in multi-tier architecture
  • Experience developing and testing application software according to user requirements
  • Experience analyzing software requirements to identify right design patterns and software components needs for application development and deployment
  • Experience using: JAVA, .NET, Spring, NODE JS, Angular JS, UI framework, OSS, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Docker, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, SQL, NoSQL, OAuth, and Akamai
  • If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
