Issaquah · May Valley Young Life is seeking an Area Administrator to support and strengthen the ministry through excellent administrative and organizational leadership. This position averages approximately 5–10 hours per week, with some seasonal variation (hours may increase during special events and decrease during quieter seasons). The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a heart for service who takes pride in high-quality work and can manage a variety of projects with care and attention to detail. This individual should feel comfortable interacting with both adults and students in a range of settings, including communicating with donors and supporting ministry events such as sending students off to camp. In addition to Young Life (high school) and WyldLife (middle school) ministries, Issaquah · May Valley Young Life also supports a Capernaum ministry serving friends with disabilities. Ministry is currently active at Issaquah and Liberty High School, with two WyldLife Clubs serving four middle schools, and the area is preparing for a new high school currently under development where expanded ministry is anticipated. Our vision is for every student within the Issaquah School District to have the opportunity to meet Jesus. To move toward this vision, we are working to expand to three or more high school clubs, increase our consistent presence across middle schools, and thoughtfully prepare for ministry at this future high school campus. Area Office Administrator I Summary: This position provides administrative support, enabling the Young Life field ministry area office to function an organized and efficient manner.
