Area Production Manager

D&W has 50 years of history as an aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck and off-road equipment parts, remanufacturing and distribution of diesel engine components, and industrial products. Compensation Range: $75,000-$95,000 annual
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, and/or demonstrated equivalent experience of at least 5 years, 3 of which in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- 2 years supervisory experience with strong leadership skills
- Experience in the areas of process and quality improvement
- Must have strong planning abilities and analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned workforce to ensure that product is produced in a timely, safe and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and proper training
- Continually work with assigned departments to reduce requested warranty rates
- Interface with branch personnel to verify branch requirements are being met.
- Initiate plans and processes which minimalize remanufacturing costs
- Drive a continuous focus on safety, environmental and OSHA requirements.
