About The Position

Responsible for achieving the sales expectations of the assigned territory. Success is realized by building strong customer relationships, conducting consultative sales producing calls, utilizing solid product and disease state technical knowledge, developing and following a solid territory business plan, and reporting sales related activities to upper management through a call reporting system. This position will be responsible for selling product to physicians and support staff in clinics, and hospitals and will require the specialist to support surgical cases where and when appropriate. Travel up to 25% of time may be required depending on circumstances. Current treatment options for the intervertebral disc focus on temporary pain and symptom relief. Conservative treatments may start with non-surgical lifestyle modifications, physical therapy, medications, and injections. Surgery can be considered if non-surgical treatments fail or nerve compression is severe. VIA Disc NP offers a potential option that bridges the gap between conservative care and surgical procedures. Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of medical sales experience (interventional pain preferred)
  • 4 year (BS/BA) degree
  • Must have direct physician selling experience
  • Must live in the territory currently

  • Ability to navigate diverse care settings (office, clinic, surgery center, VA, LTC, etc.)
  • Will be proficient in selling a product based upon its value (not price)
  • Experience working with challenging sales cycles in a consultative sales role

  • Located centrally within the territory
