About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to lead sales efforts in a high-growth, technology-driven healthcare environment. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business development, expanding customer relationships, and achieving sales targets across an assigned territory. The role requires solution-selling expertise, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to coordinate internal resources to deliver excellent customer experiences. You will engage with clinicians, administrators, and executives to understand their needs, present compelling solutions, and ensure seamless implementation of products and services. This position involves a mix of strategic account management and hands-on sales activity, with significant travel across the assigned territory. The role is dynamic, fast-paced, and provides visibility into key business operations and decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the healthcare technology or CRM industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CRM, remote monitoring, or related healthcare solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales processes and navigate multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong solution-selling, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience making clinical and financial justifications for products.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, resilience, and a high level of professional presence.
  • Comfortable with a minimum of 50% travel to customer sites across the assigned territory.
  • Proficient in remote selling tools (Teams, Zoom, Webex) and business planning processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business and sales of products and services within the assigned territory, identifying opportunities with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare systems.
  • Build strong relationships with clinicians, cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and administrative decision-makers to advocate for the adoption of solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and presentations to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Coordinate internal resources, including customer success and support teams, to ensure smooth implementation and integration of solutions.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, while providing regular updates to leadership on territory performance and pipeline.
  • Develop strategic sales plans and contribute to market awareness initiatives to generate growth opportunities.
  • Represent the organization professionally in all communications, presentations, and interactions with potential and existing clients.
