A high energy coordination role that requires leadership, project management and capacity planning expertise to effectively manage shared resources in support of numerous individual projects. This role works closely with multiple stakeholders and functional organizations to determine production needs, program risks, throughput variances, and corrective action plans. Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, coordination, negotiation, scheduling, and planning skills are essential for success. Area Schedulers will conduct detailed analysis to identify production demand levels that significantly exceed or drop below normal capacity levels. Area Scheduling will develop plans to address variable product demand levels while working with manufacturing, test, inspection, and project management organizations to ensure factory success. Area Scheduling will lead daily reviews on production schedule needs and any necessary mitigation plans associated with backlogs or underutilization. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate leadership skills. Applicants must also be comfortable using leadership and advanced communication tactics to work through complex problems and conflicting demands to effectively represent multiple stakeholders.
