About The Position

TriSalus Life Sciences is an oncology focused medical technology business providing disruptive drug delivery technology with the goal of improving therapeutics delivery to liver, pancreatic, and large tumors. The Company’s platform includes devices that utilize a proprietary drug delivery technology and a clinical stage investigational immunotherapy. The Company’s two FDA-cleared devices use its proprietary Pressure-Enabled Drug Delivery TM (PEDDTM) approach to deliver a range of therapeutics: the TriNavÒ Infusion System for hepatic arterial infusion of liver tumors and the Pancreatic Retrograde Venous Infusion System for pancreatic tumors.

Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. from an accredited University or College
  • 10+ years of demonstrated sales experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years managerial experience of sales managers
  • Previous experience with physician preference items in the OR, Cath Lab or IR lab
  • Must have a minimum of 6 years medical device experience, preferably in radiology

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and mentor the direct team members to master commercial fundamental building blocks allowing the region to reach or exceed growth expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to expand market penetration
  • Lead development, execution and measurement of regional sales strategies, programs and tools in the field.
  • Build a positive company image and increase market acceptance by collaborating with customers, government, and employees, enforcing ethical business practices
  • Manages sales directly to end-users of the organization’s products and services in a large specified geographic area, is responsible for a specific industry or product segment on a national or geographic basis.
  • Manage individual contributor sales account managers while carrying own sales quota.
  • Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives for self and reports
  • Monitor competitors’ products, including relevant sales and marketing data
  • Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals
  • Complete market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy for maximum success
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts
  • Achieve regional sales forecast with primary focus in Target accounts
  • Communicate with internal team members
  • Develop scalable business by driving more business within each account
  • Must be able to articulate the science behind our product and sell the unique value of TriSalus
  • Develop multiple users in each account – some to become product champions
  • Continually analyze territory to identify opportunities to drive procedure utilization
  • Build a territory business plan which incorporates detailed assessment of all hospitals and physicians, identifying and executing on areas of opportunity
  • Maintain knowledge of the current industry, healthcare economics, the impact of scientific advances and reimbursement (including the nuances of TPT reimbursement)
  • Confidently communicate with Interventional Radiologists, Oncologists and all related stakeholders
  • When assigned, cover local or national conferences and exhibitions
  • Must be flexible to changes in travel schedule for case support
  • Attendance is required at the National Sales Meeting and quarterly Plan of Action meeting
  • Maintain accurate and timely information within the CRM system
  • Follow all Policies and Procedures of TriSalus Life Sciences
