As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and deliver customer service through clear, professional communication. Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Baton certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients at a financial institution location by carrying out armed post duties, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance from law enforcement and/or medical responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, observe alarms and/or surveillance systems, and verify identification and authorization for employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives per post orders.
