As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a highly visible presence, and respond to incidents as they arise. You will document and report security-related activity, support access control, and provide professional customer service and clear communication to staff and visitors. Requirements

• Have a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Perform armed patrol duties inside and around the facility, including regular and random patrols of lobbies, offices, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and/or vendor activity; assist with entry and exit processes in accordance with post orders and client requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disputes, medical events, and/or suspicious behavior; request law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, document security-related incidents and patrol activity, and communicate timely updates to site contacts, dispatch, and/or Allied Universal management.
