Job Description As a Airport Security Officer - Ramp Patrol in Honolulu, HI , you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout airport terminal areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and screen for authorized entry where assigned, directing visitors and/or vendors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local authorities as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
