About The Position

As a Armed Security Officer - Downtown Tower in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• An Texas armed guard card and/or license is required

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk of a financial institution by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet and screen visitors, confirm identification and appointment information, and direct guests to the appropriate area while maintaining a professional presence.
• Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and entry controls, and report irregular conditions per post orders.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of visitor traffic, deliveries, incidents, and security-related service requests.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
