As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure atmosphere. You will remain highly visible, conduct routine patrols, and interact with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing customer service to clients and visitors within the tech, media, and telecom location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues, with patrol frequency and routes varying as required by the location.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Support emergency response activities, following established protocols and guidance from Allied Universal and site leadership.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the location.
Document incidents, observations, and activities as required, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
