As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will check doors and gates, respond to alarms and calls for service, and document activity with clear communication. Requirements

• Have 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or armed guard license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Operate as an armed patrol professional in accordance with applicable licensing requirements and post orders, including maintaining control of issued equipment and reporting any concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage, and document observations per post requirements.
• Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and gate activity, complete shift logs and incident reports, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and/or the site contact.
