You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and unusual activity with clear, professional communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement and/or military and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access control issues, medical events, and/or suspicious activity.
  • Control access through designated entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, monitoring visitor processing, and following post orders for restricted areas.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as required.
