Current C.P.R. and First Aid Certification or must be able to obtain it within 30 days.

The nature of the work requires some sustained physical effort involving considerable standing and walking for extended periods of time. This position requires standing for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift) and the ability to wear a radio earpiece at normal volume setting. Must be able to respond quickly in the event of an emergency. Requires the ability to ascend and descend stairs to complete patrols. Manual dexterity is needed to open doors and write reports. Security personnel may be assigned to any shift. May be assigned outdoors and construction posts which may include inclement weather, dust, dirt and noise. Physical demands are in excess of those for sedentary or medium duty work; must be able to remain on feet for a minimum of eight hours at a time with scheduled breaks. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, carry, push, pull, climb, balance, walk, and run.

Responsibilities
Monitors assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities.
Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds.
Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
After business hours, checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.
Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property.
Reasonably detains persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives.
Escorts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.
