This is more than a front desk or admin role. You’ll be at the center of the school’s energy—welcoming students, supporting artists, driving enrollment, and helping bring exhibitions and events to life.

Requirements

  • Background or strong interest in fine arts, art education, or creative fields
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or community-facing roles
  • A natural people-person who enjoys building relationships
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Experience with social media, events, or marketing

Responsibilities

  • Welcome prospective students and guide them through the enrollment process (in-person, phone, and online)
  • Build relationships with families, students, and local community members
  • Follow up on inquiries and leads with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm
  • Help convert interest into enrollment through thoughtful, personalized communication
  • Be the friendly face of the school—greeting every student, member, and guest
  • Create a positive, supportive environment for artists of all ages and levels
  • Assist with scheduling, onboarding new students, and ensuring smooth first-day experiences
  • Resolve questions or concerns with care and professionalism
  • Support membership needs including billing, scheduling updates, and account changes
  • Support and execute community events, exhibitions, and open houses
  • Assist in organizing and promoting student showcases and professional artist exhibitions
  • Create and update marketing materials (posters, emails, social posts)
  • Help manage social media presence and engage with the local community online
  • Keep website content fresh and aligned with current programs
  • Open and close the school and ensure a clean, welcoming environment
  • Coordinate supplies and support day-to-day studio operations
  • Maintain accurate student records, schedules, and attendance
  • Partner with the School Director to ensure an exceptional overall experience
