About The Position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a robust NG RF Systems Launch Engineering team, you will develop and train AI models to automate processes and solve complex problems. You will design, verify, and implement AI systems, ensuring they function effectively and align with RF Systems team objectives. Responsibilities include evaluate machine learning processes and selecting appropriate models, collect and analyze large datasets to train AI models, develop and deploy AI algorithms and systems, and collaborate with cross functional teams to establish goals for AI processes. Your implementations will include robust testing and validation of results to ensure accuracy and effectiveness via measurable metrics. You will manage data and project infrastructure and stay updated on the latest AI developments and technologies. In this, you will support mission-critical communication systems that maintain uninterrupted data links between ground stations and flight vehicles during dynamic flight conditions. Working alongside senior engineers, you will help build, test, and deploy the agents, knowledge pipelines, and ML models that reduce operator cognitive burden. You will assist in training and evaluating anomaly detection and time-series forecasting models on telemetry data. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact our mission of Millions of People Living and Working in Space for the Benefit of Earth. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
