Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience leveraging statistical programming languages, such as Python, to develop predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and data visualizations
  • 2+ years of experience in AI, including machine learning, Agentic AI, Generative AI, or Natural Language Processing
  • Experience writing clean and maintainable code using programming languages such as Python
  • Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, data preprocessing techniques, and feature engineering
  • Ability to take poorly defined problems and convert them into questions for which practical quantitative solutions can be defined
  • Ability to work with large, remote data sets
  • Ability to employ best practices in software development, including using Git for version control and collaboration with other developers, and testing and code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of AI solutions
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with healthcare or medical device industry data
  • Experience using tools such as SQL or Spark to query, design, and perform A/B testing to evaluate model performance and measure the impact of AI solutions on business outcomes
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Salesforce Cloud services
  • Experience with Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Experience with program automation, CI and CD, DevSecOps, and Agile
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and best practices
  • Experience with geospatial data analysis, including ArcGIS
  • Bachelor's degree in a CS, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field preferred; Master’s degree in a CS, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field a plus

  • Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
  • The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
  • The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
