About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Perform accurate, consistent laboratory testing of fly ash materials following established procedures. Follow all safety guidelines and help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced industrial setting with shifting priorities and production deadlines. Learn and apply laboratory methods, equipment operation, and material specifications. Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure reliable and accurate performance.
Requirements
- Ability to perform testing procedures with consistency, precision, and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced industrial environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong commitment to safe workplace practices, quality standards, and maintaining a clean, organized lab.
- Capability to learn and apply laboratory methods, equipment operation, and material specifications.
- Goal‑oriented individual who takes ownership of daily testing responsibilities and follows through with accountability.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
