We are currently hiring an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter for the 2025-2026 school year in Arlington Heights, IL . Job Details: In-person position, full time with Arlington Heights School District Facilitates communication between students, staff and parents who are deaf or hard of hearing and others within the educational environment. Relays information to and from the students who are deaf or hard of hearing and others; interprets and transliterates both voice-to-sign and sign-to-voice communication. 1:1 student support.

Requirements

Have or obtain the Illinois State Board of Education Educational Interpreter Approval

Responsibilities

Facilitates communication between students, staff and parents who are deaf or hard of hearing and others within the educational environment.
Relays information to and from the students who are deaf or hard of hearing and others; interprets and transliterates both voice-to-sign and sign-to-voice communication.
1:1 student support.
