Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, some college preferred
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive manufacturing line responsibility.
  • Prior welding experience
  • Basic computer skills are required with a familiarity of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Excellent levels of numeracy, literacy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand use of a tape measure.
  • Use of an overhead crane to move product to and from work tables.
  • Read and understand drawings/blueprints.
  • Ensure correct bolt types are used on each job.
  • Use of guide gap tool to adjust guide as needed.
  • Must ensure any brush/weatherstrip is supplied as required.
  • Ensure angles are proper material and/or color.
  • Spot welding as needed.
  • Medium physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of materials weighing (0 - 50 lbs.)
  • Regularly required to stand, bend, reach and push.
  • Continuous and frequent reaching and pushing and occasional bending.
