Inside the Role This position is responsible for completion of baking, blasting & washing process of engine blocks, heads, and various components by way of the established remanufacturing process. We Take Care of Our Team This position offers: Starting pay of $20.70/hr. up to top pay of $29.21/hr. What You Drive at DTNA Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput Install and assemble components for heavy-duty trucks Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy Operate the following tools and equipment: jigs and fixtures, pneumatic and DC tools for fasteners and assembly of heavy-duty trucks Cleaning & Blasting engine components Operate hoist, air tools, dip tank, hand cart, blasters, shakers, mag units Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers Adhere to established work rotation plan Complete training matrix for each rotation position Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions Other tasks and/or duties as requested

Requirements

  • Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
  • Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Must maintain a clean work area.
  • Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
  • Cross train on other jobs as required
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application
  • Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
  • Previous mechanical experience
  • High School Diploma / GED preferred and further college education a plus

  • Complete training matrix for each rotation position
  • Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
