About The Position
Summary: Assembles metal products partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties in reasonable & productive time frames: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch. Must be able to follow verbal, written and pictorial instructions. Must be able to use hand tools, drill or riveting tools. Other duties as assigned. Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Ability to read and understand English instructions
- Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
- Ability to walk and climb or balance
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
