See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: Operator is required to cut and strip magnet wire and splice on cable, solder, wrap cables, run testers and glue machine. The part is assembled in a fast-paced environment using small hand tools, a terminal machine, and other job-related assembly aids per/ Work Instructions. Achieving hourly rate of production and inspection of all parts is required. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.

Requirements

  • Basic Soldering experience.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must have normal to high manual dexterity skills.
  • Must be able to use hand tools, scales, and other process related equipment such as fixtures, assembly presses and drill presses.
  • Some hand tools require the operator to be ambidextrous.
  • Moderate lifting up to 50lbs, lifting assistance is provided when necessary.
  • Fine hand manipulation, pinching, pulling, and grasping of small-medium-large parts.
  • Operator must have full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, neck and back to perform job duties.
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English; excellent written and verbal communication is required.

Responsibilities

  • Job requires the use of chemicals which could cause respiratory track irritation such as lead based solder, flux, 2part epoxy, alcohol and thinner.
  • Position requires operator to be mechanically inclined with basic reading, writing and mathematics skills.
  • Position requires operator to work in a team environment, follow direction, read work instructions.
  • Bill of materials (BOMs), prepare container tickets, including addition and subtraction of part counts.
  • Organizational skills, required to multitask, color vision, and read small print.
  • Use of hand tools, scales, and other process related equipment such as fixtures, gauges, and winding machine.
  • Some hand tools require the operator to be ambidextrous.
  • The nature of work is repetitive, resulting in fine hand manipulation, pinching, pulling, and grasping of small-medium-large parts.
